“We won’t save everything we want. But we’ll save much more than we could have saved if we hadn’t made our best efforts at all.”
FOR 60 YEARS, THE MISSION OF THE INTERNATIONAL WWF ORGANIZATION IS TO ACT FOR THE FUTURE IN WHICH MAN LIVES IN HARMONY WITH NATURE.
WWF saves the most valuable natural places in over 100 countries on 6 continents. WWF is not alone. It works solely with the support of over 5 million donors worldwide.
They are guided by the assumption that when thinking globally, you should act locally. WWF Poland’s activities focus on the area of the Baltic Sea. He draws attention to the problem of eutrophication (fertilization) of this reservoir, accumulation of pollutants, as well as other phenomena that threaten the life of protected aquatic species. Today, in front of our eyes, the Baltic Sea is dying. However, it is still not too late to act against the destructive processes.
The effects of the WWF Foundation so far allow us to believe that the Earth, instead of going worse, can still change for the better. SIEM Ship Management Poland supports this organization.
