NAMEPA Mission
The North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA) is a marine industry-led organization of environmental stewards preserving the marine environment by promoting sustainable marine industry best practices and educating seafarers, students and the public about the need and strategies for protecting global ocean, lake and river resources.
NAMEPA brings together industry, government, regulatory, conservation and educational organizations to provide access, collaboration and participation in preserving the marine environment. Endorsement of our company, the marine industry, and the marine environment through leadership and participation in industry events and strategic alliances on a global basis as well as NAMEPA members are qualified for the Maritime Sustainability Passport (MSP) and receive the MSP Seal.
