We are pleased to announce that another car carrier in our fleet, mv SIEM Plato, has successfully passed the Clean Shipping Index (CSI) verification, receiving an excellent score of 2 stars.
This was achieved by monitoring for one year the vessel’s green gas emission, the use of chemicals on board and water and waste management in an environmentally friendly way.
The Clean Shipping Index is and independent reporting and labeling system to measure the environmental performance of ships and shipping companies.
Siem Ship Management Poland, in cooperation with the ship’s crew, will continue to monitor our Car Carriers to ensure our place amongst an elite group of environmentally vigilant shipping companies.
